here is my results

"You are an evangelical in the Wesleyan tradition. You believe that God's grace enables you to choose to believe in him, even though you yourself are totally depraved. The gift of the Holy Spirit gives you assurance of your salvation, and he also enables you to live the life of obedience to which God has called us. You are influenced heavly by John Wesley and the Methodists."

Evangelical Holiness/Wesleyan
93%
Emergent/Postmodern
57%
Neo orthodox
57%
Roman Catholic
50%
Classical Liberal
39%
Charismatic/Pentecostal
39%
Reformed Evangelical
39%
Fundamentalist
29%
Modern Liberal
0%

I guess everyone has their slants

I wonder where my neo-orthodoxy came from? I haven't even read any of Karl Barth!

(Well, ok, I read vol 1. of "Essentials of Evangelical Theology" for a Tyndale course I never took. That book is by Bloesch, who is a big Barth fan, although he considers Barth to be a universalist.)

I know a good Barth story though.

The story is that a tourist visiting Barth's home city (Vienna?) was travelling on a city bus one morning. He was bubbling to the bearded man beside him about how wonderful the city was. At one point he said, "Do you realize that this is the home of the famous theologian Karl Barth?!"

The man beside him, who was Karl Barth himself, replied "I know. I shave him every day."

The tourist went home and told the rest of his family that he had met Karl Barth's barber.

I am not sure if this is good or bad. oh welYou scored as Reformed Evangelical.

You are a Reformed Evangelical. You take the Bible very seriously because it is God's Word. You most likely hold to TULIP and are sceptical about the possibilities of universal atonement or resistible grace. The most important thing the Church can do is make sure people hear how they can go to heaven when they die.

Reformed Evangelical

71%
Evangelical Holiness/Wesleyan

64%
Fundamentalist

57%
Emergent/Postmodern

43%
Classical Liberal

39%
Neo orthodox

32%
Charismatic/Pentecostal

29%
Roman Catholic

11%
Modern Liberal

4%

l.
