How do pastors learn to be better pastors?
One way is by learning from other pastors and gifted Bible teachers in a formal context. Another way is by fellowshiping with other pastors in informal ways, by being deliberate with conversations and by pursuing each other. I’m hoping to pursue both this week at the 2009 Basics Conference.
I’m travelling with my pastor, Paul, my friend Tim, and my other friend, Ian. We’ve just arrived at the church now and I’m looking forward to mocking Tim while he’s on the air doing his radio interview.
Depending on internet access and time, I may blog later about some of the conference and the things we’re learning. Everything looks great here so far!
